Cross Cutter

A Cross-cutter is mainly used for brack rock cores which remain in the borehole after using a core barrel. The core is broken with round shank chiselas. The cutting are then removed the buckets. It is also suitable for drilling hard, jointed rock and for penetrating through layers containing boulders.

 

TECH SPECIFICATION:

  • Top Shell thickness 20/25mm
  • Bottoms Ring 38/40mm
  • Used Kennametal round shank & TC bits. Rock roller bits are on request. Standard height 1400mm
  • Kelly Box 200x200
  • Outer Wear strip with hard facing
  • Holder round, square or Weldon bit
  • Wear plate thickness 60/80mm
